I made a quick banner for our cocktail and crafting night tonight using some of the lovely fabric I won in Serendipity Patch's giveaway, some fabric my sister-in-law gave me as a gift as well as scraps I've saved over the years. Each one with a good thought or memory. Hope you're having a lovely sunny day like we're having in Hastings x
And look what popped up to say hello!

Thanks Liz, I was thinking about you yesterday, I got a bit of a haul at the charity shop!

ReplyDeleteGlad you put some of it to good use :) Enjoy your evening. xx
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your craft night, the banner looks fab. I'm off to a craft meeting tonight too............wish we were having cocktails.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely banner for being 'quick'. Have fun with your cocktails and crafting night :)
ReplyDeleteYay flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love your banner. i am going to make some lettered bunting for a house project. Love how yours has turned out. Hope you had a great night xx
ReplyDeleteYay! You got flowers! You must be pleases to see the back of winter? I am not blogging much right now - just got a lot going on. I am living on the likes of tinned spaghetti and marmite toast - minimal cooking, no gardening. I have a few dates in my mind where things are definitely going to start improving... not long now. Autumn arrived here overnight and is definitely here to stay... have had a few frosty mornings already!
ReplyDeleteRachael - I know they surprised me :) It seems like 5 minutes ago I was feeling sad about the onset of winter. We've had such a really mild one and after a hard one last year that suited me just fine. I made my first allotment produce meal yesterday. But recently I have had days of toast and cheese - I hear ya!
ReplyDeleteBarefoot Crofter - I can't wait to see your banner.
Thanks for all your comments everyone. It's not my comfort zone at all to organise an event since I worry about everyone and everything but it was a great night and for a good cause.
