Not Just For Kids

If you are sitting at home all cosy planning your garden take a look at this fantastic inspiration board from the very talented Dawn Isaac of Little Green Fingers (some photos from it below). Some great recycling garden project ideas on there. And I will just have to drool over the fairytale play houses that I wouldn't mind living in myself - including the hen house!
There are more great ideas for gardening with kids on this web site: NurtureStore.

  1. OOh - yes - some lovely stuff there. I especially like those plastic bottle planters. Enjoyed the jethro Tull lyrics on the previous post too - the photos were stunning. x

  2. They look great don't they. I think you could make holes in the bottle top and fill the base with water so the plants could take up water when they need it. I always had a problem trying to keep pots watered at the community centre. x

  6. Janet - I tried to persuade my husband to clear out his shed so we could get chickens to live in it. I need to do more work on him.

Jo - My boy is very excited that I'm excited about doing some new projects. At the allotment we're going to have a shed where we can have cups of tea and he's going to keep some toys there.

I'm so happy about winning your giveaway! Please go and look at the lovely, lovely things that grow in the garden and from her crochet needle over at Serendipity Patch. Like the beautiful spring blanket.

  9. Aren't they great. I have tried lolly sticks and cutting strips of yoghurt cartons and I always end up not being able to read them. I think the painted pebbles would last and could be used year after year. And they look so lovely. x
