Most of the crocus in the lawn have finished flowering now apart from one clump in a shady spot. Following them are the daffodils. Much welcome sunshine yellows and oranges on dull, cloudy days.
So far march has been a month of cold, dry days with fleeting warm moments in the sun. The daffodils have finally started to open up this week. On Tuesday I was weeding around the broad beans in the old town garden, loving the rays beaming down on me, when I noticed the air chill quickly. A dense fog crept slowly in from the sea. We have been under a cloud of grey drizzle ever since. Perfect weather for frogs.
I'm an artist, illustrator, gardener, crafter and mum to a six year old. I live in the beautiful seaside town of Hastings on the South Coast of England. I love thrifting, swimming in the sea, cycling, upcycling, exploring and documenting the natural world.
