Pennies from Heaven

Oh every time it rains
It rains pennies from heaven
Don't you know each cloud contains
Pennies from heaven
You'll find your fortune
Fallin' all over town
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers
It you want the things you love
You must have showers
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven
For you and me

Songwriters: Arthur Johnston / Johnny Burke

They Came from the Bog

Veins pulsing with blood
Under neon alien skin,
The B movie future
Invasion begins.
Lured by the acid odour
Of decaying prey within;
A tasty treat for
A fly that whizzes in.
Not realising
The dish of the day
Will be him.

Botanical

It's cold outside. Let's visit the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow. The first picture is a postcard from the Glasgow City Council web site.
